Who we work with

We serve multi-generational families, family business owners, wealth creators, and family offices who recognise that legacy is built on people, not paper.

Who we serve

Genera House works with families and the professionals who support them. Our clients typically fall into the following profiles:

Family business owners

We work with family business founders and their successors when a transition of leadership or ownership is approaching. Succession is an emotional shock to a business system. We help founders navigate the identity shift of letting go and prepare the next generation to hold authority without breaking the family unit.

Entrepreneurs and wealth creators

Significant liquidity events (such as the sale of a business) introduce sudden wealth and major transitions. We support wealth creators in managing the psychological impact of these changes, establishing a clear sense of purpose for the future, and preparing their children for the emotional reality of abundance.

Multi-generational families

When wealth moves to siblings or cousins, relational dynamics become complex. We work with sibling partnerships and family branches to establish common values, resolve historical rivalries, and build the communication patterns necessary for joint stewardship.

Family offices and trustees

We act as specialist partners to family offices, wealth advisers, and trustees. While they manage the legal, tax, and investment scaffolding, we focus on the human capital. We step in when family communication breaks down, when next-generation development programs stall, or when emotional conflict threatens governance structures.

Parents preparing future generations

We support parents who want to develop capable, independent children in an environment of success and abundance. We focus on building emotional regulation, financial maturity, and character, helping heirs find their own path and identity beyond the family name.

Who we are not for

Because our work is deep and highly individual, Genera House is not a fit for every family. To ensure alignment, it is important to clarify who our services are not intended for:

  • Those seeking transactional advice: We do not offer wealth management, legal drafting, tax structuring, or family office setup. We are psychologists, focusing exclusively on the human and emotional dynamics of legacy.
  • Those looking for quick, superficial coaching: Developing emotional regulation, character, and sibling alignment is a slow, iterative practice. We do not provide quick action plans, weekend courses, or brief motivational coaching.
  • Families unwilling to look inward: Our work requires vulnerability, open conversation, and self-reflection from all participating family members. If key stakeholders are not willing to address the emotional realities under the surface, the process cannot succeed.
  • Clinical and medical emergencies: While Dr. Serwinski is a registered psychologist, Genera House is a developmental and legacy practice. We do not provide acute crisis intervention, active substance abuse rehabilitation, or emergency psychiatric care.
